As a Sales Coordinator, you will be a vital part of the sales team, responsible for providing essential support to the sales executives and ensuring seamless coordination of all sales activities. Your focus will be on generating leads, building relationships with potential clients, and helping to convert inquiries into bookings.
Key responsibilities:
- Prospecting and lead generation: Actively identify potential business opportunities and generate leads through various channels, including research, networking events, and follow-ups.
- Relationship building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, event planners, and travel agents to promote the apartment-hotel chain.
- Booking coordination: Assist in coordinating bookings, ensuring smooth communication between the sales team and operations department to guarantee a seamless guest experience.
- Sales support: Provide administrative support to the sales executives, including preparing reports, producing sales collateral, and managing CRM databases.
- Market research: Continuously monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
- Event management: Collaborate with the marketing team to organise and participate in trade shows, exhibitions, and promotional events to showcase the brand and services.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience in sales coordination, customer service, or a related role within the hotel industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
- Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient computer skills, including experience with customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
